“The products we received from Elsa honestly blew our expectations out of the water for the overall cost. We can't express enough how thrilled we were with everything. Our guests are still talking about the paper products from our wedding. Most guests don't hold onto printed items following an event, but our friends and family still have everything saved”.

Why does your invitation matter?

For the three months leading up to your wedding, your invitation will live in your guests home.

Do you want it stuck on their fridge with a magnet? Stacked in a pile of junk mail? Cluttering their inbox?

Or do you want it displayed in their home with care. A reminder that something extraordinary is coming and they are part of it.

The intention you give your invitation is reflected in how it’s received, how it’s kept, and how it sets the tone for everything that follows.

Why does your wedding day paper matter?

On your wedding day, your paper products are what guests interact with most — menus at their place setting, programs in hand, escort cards that guide them to their seat…

If it’s just text on paper, it’s forgettable.

But if it’s designed with an aesthetic narrative in mind, it feels part of a layered experience. If it’s designed not just to say something but to stir something, it becomes a tangible keepsake – a symbol of all the memories made on your wedding day.

How does “semi-custom” work?

Choose from one of our twelve semi-custom collections… then make it yours.

Designed with intention, each collection offers the flexibility to fit your aesthetic — and the nuance to feel one-of-a-kind.
They feature original artwork, the option to include a venue sketch, and a curated range of personalization choices.
Each collection also includes up to five distinct brand elements woven throughout its product line—from save the dates
to day-of details—so that each piece feels unique, yet elegantly cohesive.

About Elsa

Founder| Principle Designer

My journey as a professional artist began after graduating from Rhode Island School of Design when I embarked on a career as a mural artist in the San Francisco Bay Area. Along the way, I explored children’s book illustration and eventually found my calling as an art teacher.

In 2015, I stepped away from teaching to focus on raising my daughter, Ivy. However, the pull of creative work was strong. Encouraged by my best friend, Jasmine Rae—a renowned wedding cake artist—I joined her team as a project manager. This experience immersed me in the wedding industry and in 2018, I launched a custom design stationery business: Elsa Madeline Design. As my designs became more intricate and personalized, the time and cost associated with each project grew. It was disheartening to turn away clients due to budget constraints. To bridge this gap, I envisioned a sister company that maintained the artistic integrity of my custom design projects while offering a less time intensive approach. Thus, in 2022, Valley and Coast Paper Co. was born.
